I have just returned from a DisTerrMem research trip to Pakistan (3 weeks) and Afghanistan (1 week). The trip was excellent and very fruitful in terms of knowledge and research. Many thanks to the entire team from FCCU who hosted us in Lahore in the best possible way – Muhammad Younis, Mudassir Farooqi, Umber bin Ibad, Rabia Malik! A separate big thank you to Jagoda Grondecka, who provided us with a soft landing in Kabul – without your help, the Afghan research would certainly not have succeeded!
